While Kim Ogg has everyone looking at the judges, her office made thousands of sweetheart deals last month. Ogg's office spearheaded more than 1100 felony dismissals and 315 felony deferreds in March of 2020. #KimsShellGame #HouNews These charts are just a small example. This list isn't complete of all the sweetheart deals, as many cases are lowered and pleaded down to time served or minimum sentences. #RevolvingDoorCriminalJustice#HarrisCountyDeservesBetter #OggMustGo

Evading Arrest in a Motor Vehicle

HarrisCountyDeservesBetter-Evading-Arrest
We had a chase yesterday that captivated our city. Surely the public believes this selfish idiot who placed our officers and entire community at risk, simply because he didn’t want to be held responsible for his actions, would have the book thrown at him. That belief is dead wrong thanks to our broken system!   #OggMustGo #HarrisCountyDeservesBetter

Great job by our North Belt Division's Crime Suppression Team

HarrisCountyDeservesBetter-NorthBelt
Great job by our North Belt Division's Crime Suppression Team. Taking this violent and armed robbery suspect off of the streets has made Harris County a little bit safer today. This suspect was arrested/charged for Felony "Evading in a Motor Vehicle" on December 19, 2019. He posted bail and decided not to go back to court and jumped bail. A felony warrant for his evading case was filed, but no bail jumping charges have been filed yet. Now, today, he's a robbery suspect, driving a stolen vehicle (taken in an aggravated robbery) and armed with a stolen pistol. These are the...

Houston Police Officers' Union CommentsSuspects were on Deferred Adjudication for Agg Robbery and other felonies... Everything about this incident is terrible and preventable. Parents leave their toddler in a running vehicle, while illegally gambling in a convenience store? Two young men (on deferred adjudication for felony offenses) escaped from correctional facility and stole this vehicle? Then those two young men leave the baby in a park on a freezing cold night? What is going on? This is a terrible situation every single step of the way. We're just glad officers were able to rescue the child and capture the vehicle thieves... #Pray4HoustonVincent...

Armed Robbery Suspect shot by police is on deferred adjudication for 3 prior

Antonio Washington is on Deferred Adjudication for three prior violent aggravated robberies. He received 10 years probation in November of 2019, by Judge Hilary Unger of Harris County's 248th District Court. Within less than a month of receiving probation, Washington escaped from a correctional facility and went on the run. A felony warrant was filed for his arrest and three more felony warrants were filed from the prior aggravated robbery cases. Yesterday, armed with a shotgun, Antonio Washington attempted to rob a NE Harris County Walmart. Fortunately for the innocent employees and customers, a plainclothes Houston Police officer was inside of...

Jerry Marco is our poster boy for recidivism and the issues facing the citizens of Harris County. Last night, Jerry led Houston Police on a high speed car chase. Jerry put countless citizens and officers at risk and could have easily killed someone. After crashing his vehicle, Jerry produced a fake driver's license and tried to deceive our officers. Nice try, Jerry. Why did Jerry run from the police? Because of the five outstanding felony warrants from bonds he posted and then jumped... At what point is there any real "risk assessment" in Harris County? Let's run through a quick summary of...

Great job by all involved in solving these cases and getting these predators charged...

Great job by all of the investigators and agencies involved in solving these cases and getting these predators charged. The Yonko "Gypsy" Family is a criminal organization that preys on elderly and vulnerable people. Unfortunately these cases are more examples of crimes that never should have happened. * Paul Yonko is currently on parole and has an extensive criminal history throughout Texas and other states. Paul Yonko should still be in prison.* Sam Yonko bail jumped on a 2017 Felony DWI case and accumulated at least seven more charges (including PCS, Theft, Robbery, Engaging) while on bond for that DWI.* Nick...

Cortez Johnson, who is a human trafficking pimp, was able to post bail and jump bail (multiple times) in Harris County for felonies related to human trafficking. Fortunately, no police officers were injured in his recent SWAT standoff in Austin. Unfortunately, countless women were trafficked and abused by him while he abused Harris County's lax bail system.Hopefully, when Cortez makes it back into Judge Amy Martin's court, it will be to see him sentenced to the maximum. Human Traffickers deserve to be punished to the fullest extent. Texas law enforcement officers work too hard to catch these predators, just to see...

Judge Randy Roll gave "Deferred Adjudication" to the predator

In Case You Missed It... Judge Randy Roll gave "Deferred Adjudication" to the predator with the most pending Child Pornography cases in the county. These were images and videos of graphic sexual abuse of children from ages 1-8 that Mark Baldridge was uploading, distributing and possessing. Baldrige pleaded guilty to EIGHT Felony Charges and faced 80 years in prison. Instead of the prison sentence and a conviction, Judge Randy Roll gave him deferred adjudication. Most of us haven't been so lucky in traffic court.Click Here to View Video https://www.facebook.com/HPOUTX/videos/452889172067811/

Judge Dasean Jones Gave PR Bond to Attempted Cop Killer

Nathaniel Taylor is a violent career criminal with a history of narcotics possession, assault, murder and illegal possession of firearms. This week, Nathaniel Taylor attempted to murder multiple Houston Police officers. This was entirely avoidable. Only because of terrible decisions, made by Judge DaSean Jones, was Nathaniel Taylor free to roam the streets of Houston. Taylor was charged with possessing a firearm, as a felon, in May of 2019. He posted bond, skipped bail, and a felony warrant was issued for his arrest. Taylor was arrested, in October, as a wanted fugitive, in possession of a stolen handgun. Judge Jones later...

The suspect from yesterday’s multiple car jackings and robberies that ended in an officer involved shooting is a member of a violent criminal street gang with a lengthy criminal history (picture in comments).Inexplicably the DAs office recommended Deferred Adjudication (no jail time) when he was recently arrested for Agg Robbery. The lack of leadership and incompetence at the DAs office is putting our community and our officers at greater risk and it must stop! #OggMustGo

HarrisCountyDeservesBetter-ClaytonBrown
Message from HPOU FOP Lodge 110 President Joe Gamaldi:This is Clayton Brown, Clayton has a lengthy, violent, criminal history. Clayton shot two people (one of them a 15 year old girl) at a block party last year. Our officers are running call to call to call and our detectives are under crippling case loads, we need sustained growth to keep up with demand. In addition, as a community we must also hold our elected DA accountable for her weak stance on gun crime. Time...
